Enlighten our eyes with your Torah…
It is a gift to learn and teach Torah. Whether I am working with B’nei Mitzvah students, teaching weekly adult Torah study, or envisioning and instructing Beit Midrash chevruta-style learning, I aim to invite learners into the rich and multifaceted world of our Jewish textual tradition.
I wanted to become a rabbi to study the Jewish past, enrich the Jewish present, and inspire the Jewish future. I best actualize this vision when I connect students to the Jewish canon by making ancient texts newly relevant and resonant.
To best position myself as a teacher of Torah, I have sought out additional learning opportunities during my rabbinical formation through study at the Jewish Theological Seminary and Hadar. I bring all of this learning to the classroom as a teacher of Torah.
